I have been through a few natural disasters in my
life, Tianjin Hurricane / earthquake in 1970
and Tangshan earthquake in 1976. I couldn't describe my
feeling at those time.
But when I saw these pictures, those memories flash back.
The fear, confusion, desperation, weakness, hopelessness, are
beyond what I can describe......
We, The Greater San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce, will
host a donation dinner event on Thursday 5/22 to give you an
opportunity to do some thing for the Sichuan earthquake victims and their
families. We will also sponsor Mei Nan Bei Soccer Game on
5/24 and 5/25.
We have invited San Antonio Chinese Alliance and Chinese
Society of San Antonio to be co-host of this event.
