Donation to Sichuan 08 Earthquake Relief

As you might have seen on the news that a devastating earthquake, magnitude 7.9, that hit SiChuan Province on 5/12/2008.Rescuers dug through schools and homes turned into rubble by China's worst earthquake in three decades to reach victims trapped beneath slabs of concrete, as the death toll from the disaster rose Tuesday to nearly 12,000 (number is increasing) and thousands remained missing.

Many charities and non-profit organizations are open to donate for China earthquake. If you are interested to help, here are two ways:

1. Send the check to GSACCC

Please write the check payable to GSACCC with "Sichuan earthquake relief" on the notes.

We will collect all the money we received and directly send to Chinese consular at Houston. We will provide receipt from consular at our web later.

2. Send the donation to RedCross San Antonio chapter

You can send the check to GSACCC with title to Red Cross. Please make the checks out to American Red Cross and write “AP 2060 China Relief Fund” in the notes section of the check. This will ensure that every dollar that you collect goes directly to the disaster relief efforts in China.

You will receive receipt from Red Cross, and have tax exemption on that. Your employer will also match your personal donation on this too.
