As you might have seen on the news that a devastating earthquake, magnitude 7.9, that hit SiChuan Province on 5/12/2008.Rescuers dug through schools and homes turned into rubble by China's worst earthquake in three decades to reach victims trapped beneath slabs of concrete, as the death toll from the disaster rose Tuesday to nearly 12,000 (number is increasing) and thousands remained missing.

 A massive earthquake rocked southwestern China Monday,
killing thousands of people and creating a new crisis for Chinese
leaders as they prepare to host the Olympics this summer.
The quake, which China's State Seismological Bureau
measured at magnitude 7.8 and the U.S. Geological Survey said was
magnitude 7.9, struck in the middle of the afternoon, flattening school
buildings, shops and homes across a wide, mountainous area around the
epicenter in China's Sichuan province.

GSACCC attends the San Antonio Manufactureres Association Trade Show |

Jerry Jin and Maria Ng (吴若岚，International
Trade Center) attended the San Antonio
Manufacturers Association Trade show at the Live Oak Civic Center on April 16th. Over
100 companies were present. Maria handed GSACCC membership forms to all
the existing ITC clients. Jerry was able to talk to about 2/3 of the
companies present in the trade show and introduce the chamber services to the ITC clients. People show great interest of the GSACCC.
