The Wells Fargo/UNCF Scholarship Fund was established in April 2007 to
provide students attending historically black colleges and universities
with financial assistance, internship and recruitment opportunities and
specialized financial literacy programs designed to educate young
adults on the benefits and pitfalls of debt management. The scholarship
is available to African American or African American heritage
undergraduate sophomores, juniors and first year MBA students attending
a four-year HBCU during the 2007-08 academic year. Selected students
will receive $2000 one time grant, to assist in furthering their
college education for the 2007-08 Academic Year.

"China: Land of Opportunities" hosted by the Greater San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce on Oct 21, 2008 was a great success. There were over 50 professionals attended, including Consul Zhang from the Consulate General of The People's Republic of China in Houston; Mr. David Marquez from the Bexar County Economic Development Department; Director of Hispanic Small Business Association; Founder & Vice President of Harvard Business School Club; Director of SBDC at University of Houston at Victoria and many more.
Attendees also found the presentation give by Misty Chen, Director of Institute of World Culture at University of Incarnate Word. Ms Chen used the University of Incarnate Word as an example to point out some keys points about the difference in performing business in China versus the U.S.
Once again, GSACCC would like to thank InXpress & University of Incarnate Word in sponsoring the event to make it successful.
